Congratulation with your newborn grandchild. She is beautiful....a real bundle of joy. I wish you and the new parent lots of beautiful moments with her.
How sweet! I love those little hats they put on babies now. It really showcases their face! Congratulations. We're still enthralled with No 1 and it may be No. only!
Congratulations, Your new granddaughter is adorable and perfect. You now have more incentive to start planning some special treats for her and your other grandchildren. --Jim
Congratulations to you and also to the new parents. She is absolutely gorgeous and I love her name. They both sound like family names. All of my grands have family names and it makes them even more special to those family members who have come before us, remembering them. I was just thrilled when I read this. There is nothing more joyful than a new precious little bundle in the family. BTW, I am making one of your recipes for dinner this evening. It's your mac and cheese with ham. I really liked the way it read and love the use of the egg noodles. It's DH friendly (my biggest critic he's so picky) and kid friendly and I have two of my grands here for dinner this evening. I know they will love it. I am also going to start back blogging again but will have to do it on the wordpress blog. Now, spoil that new little one, that's what grands are for.
Believe it or not, she's a great babysitter. Loves the kids, kind of unusual for a Westie but then again, she is LucyWestie! Big hugs to Snowy and MacKenzie!
Thank you all! We just came back from the hospital where we dropped off the older two and met the new princess. She is very petite and a real cutie. Very alert. It is so different these days with baby in Mother's room and siblings able to visit any time. In my time I remember the grandparents bringing my daughter to the parking lot right under my room so we could see each other and wave. Signs of the times!
We are exhausted but thrilled and the house seems very, very quiet. I will recoup this week and get ready for the next two major projects. Kitchen, roof and baby check...two more to go!
I can imagine you are exhausted and I'm sure it seems so quiet! What an adorable little peanut and I love her name(s); yes, very Southern indeed. And how are Mom and Dad doing? Must be overwhelming at first for them…but they're young! Look forward to many more pictures.
My thoughts indeed...relaxed and wise looking. She looks like an old soul doesn't she? Perhaps she already knows the pecking order and is taking it all in stride. Trust me I am already buying adult beverages in twos rather than one. Beats the extra trip.
Congratulations! There is nothing like a new baby to shake things up a bit. She is a real cutie pie and LOVE her name! Enjoy, as we know the time flies and they grow up so fast. xoxo Sandra

Spent the whole day in front of the computer doing absolutely nothing. Divine! Everybody taking it in stride, including baby.
DeleteWhat a relaxed looking bundle you have. Congratulations on the new arrival!
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful and wise looking. I think Harper already knows exactly who she is! Enjoy the quiet and maybe an adult beverage or two. You've earned it!
