I went to put it in the little oven and it did not fit. Oven to small! Never panic...I closed the door as much as I could and wrapped the oven door with foil. Round and round I went to keep the heat inside and sure enough...it worked...YUMMY..even in the kitchen; I knew how to keep dancing...LOLFrancy with Missyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09252525627452674224noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-323849547147404211.post-33457721181197886002010-10-29T14:51:52.455-04:002010-10-29T14:51:52.455-04:00Toby,

I had a long conversation with the produce guy who was unpacking all sorts of beautiful apples at Gourmet Garage last week and we settled on what he recommended. They were perfect..but any of the above should fit the bill. The apple crisp, from my country blog, was linked in Part 1 but here it is again http://mykitchenbythelake.blogspot.com/2009/11/apple-crisp.html
I added cranberries!lindaraxahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15721286284279902181noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-323849547147404211.post-25017805422735219112010-10-29T13:08:03.352-04:002010-10-29T13:08:03.352-04:00About that apple crisp~it was never mentioned what...About that apple crisp~it was never mentioned what sort of apples you
used for it and I want to know! It's getting difficult to find apples suited
to baking. Julia Child used to recommend golden delicious but they
tend to become something approximating applesauce if baked too long~
and I am a firm believer in pastry crusts that are crisp not soggy.Toby Worthingtonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05887066048372484464noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-323849547147404211.post-77316342283790818022010-10-29T11:57:32.639-04:002010-10-29T11:57:32.639-04:00Oh, and Reggie, dearest,

It reminded him of a similar one he ate this summer, sitting at an outdoor restaurant on a piazza in Tuscany. Lindaraxa's lasagna is creamy, delicate, almost gossamer, and delicious beyond belief. I assure you that it is nothing like the tomato sauced heavy hamburger laden monsters served in most households here in America. Do give it a try, but be warned -- lasagna will never be the same for you again!Reggie Darlinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04044215790585354363noreply@blogger.com
