I have one of these

http://www.amazon.com/Creuset-Enameled-Cast-Iron-5-Quart-French/dp/B00005QFR6/ref=sr_1_24?ie=UTF8&qid=1290445937&sr=8-24

and highly recommend them. I know they are expensive but well worth it. I use mine all the time. Sometimes you can find them at Marshall, or Home Goods.

If not use an oven pan, cover it with tin foil and stick in oven. I would rather you did that than the crockpot. Won't be the same. Do make it it is delicious adn your family will enjoy. Hope this helps!lindaraxahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15721286284279902181noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-323849547147404211.post-79787596506190333332010-11-22T11:48:19.042-05:002010-11-22T11:48:19.042-05:00On the braised beef with onions, could you cook it...On the braised beef with onions, could you cook it in a crock pot if you don't have a dutch oven, and if so, how long would you recommend?Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03512930691476774026noreply@blogger.com
